The Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) plans to hold the “Taiwan Capital Market Invesor tor Relations” seminar at Taipei International Convention Center on March 18, inviting representatives of listed companies, professional investment institutions, investor relations consultant agencies and other experts. Special lectures and two-way discussions will be carried out with "Opening a Channel for Dialogue with Investors, and Presenting the Overall Value of the Companies" as the topic. Through the observations and discussions of lecturers from different fields, the participants will be able to share their experiences in investor relations with the attending representatives of listed companies.

To promote the establishment of good investor relations and help companies understand the needs of institutional investors, open a two-way dialogue mechanism to obtain investors' long-term support for company operations, and help enterprises improve their image, TWSE will be holding its first seminar on investor relations. Through a complete and detailed explanation, and face-to-face communication, the seminar will help the participants better understand the practical operations of investor relations and its importance to listed companies, further building and improving communication channels between companies and investors.
The seminar will include two lectures on "Investor Relations and Corporate Governance" and "International Development Trends of Investor Relations Communication", which will be given by the Quantum International Company (QIC) Chief Executive, Lee Hong-Chi, and Gounder of Markis Capital, Teddy Tsai. The speakers at the seminar include TWSE Senior Executive Vice President Chien Lih-chung , Deputy General Manager of Makalot Industrial Co., Huang Qing-Guang , JPMorgan Chase & Co. Executive Director, Chung Chao-Hung, and two other panelists. The discussions will include "How Should Enterprises Build Communication Strategies with Investors and Effectively Reach the Target of Communication", "How to Urge Investors to Participate in Discussions Related to Corporate Governance and Corporate Social Responsibility" and "How Should Enterprises Resolve and Restart Dialogues when Facing a Crisis in Investor Relations."
The TWSE has announced that all the 250 seats in this seminar have been completely filled only three days after the registration for this seminar began. This condition shows the attention to this topic given by companies whose stocks are traded on the TWSE. These companies understand that, at the same time when they run the companies and maximize shareholder value, they should also understand the needs of investors and create functioning channels of communication. In the future, the TWSE will further design and assist the training for investor conferences of listed companies to improve the quality of these conferences, build sturdy bridges of communications with investors and present the value of these companies in capital markets.
