TWSE announces the "early registration of 2020 annual general meeting date" will open at 9 A.M. on January 3, 2020.

To encourage companies to adopt electronic voting, for the "early registration of 2020 annual general meeting date", companies that have held electronic voting once and had shareholders representing 50% or more of the total shares outstanding attend the meeting and require directors and supervisors be elected by nomination in their articles of incorporation may be exempted from the daily limit of 100 companies.

TWSE would like to remind listed companies to complete the "IC card certificate setup" between December 16, 2019 and 5 P.M. on December 30, 2019 in order to proceed with annual general meeting date registration. For those whose certificates are to expire before the annual general meeting registration opens (January 3), TWSE would like to ask these companies to apply to TWCA for an extension before proceeding to complete the "single IC card certificate setup".

The daily limit of 100 companies is enforced according to the time of arrival at the TWSE mainframe. All listed companies should complete registration by March 15, 2020. Companies that have registered their dates will be able to make changes, if necessary, over the internet before the respective annual general meeting dates are announced.

TWSE reiterates that companies failing to register annual general meeting dates on the MOPS or showing inconsistencies between the registered dates and those announced in material disclosures and meeting announcements will not be able to complete the annual general meeting announcement procedure.
