Five Information Sessions Across the Northern, Central, and Southern Regions
Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) announced that the instructions and indicators for the first corporate governance evaluation system in Taiwan have been completed and officially launched on March 31, 2014. To help listed companies fully understand the indicators, scope of evaluation, methods of assessment, process of announcing results, and other related information, TWSE and GreTai Securities Market will be jointly conducting five information sessions, starting on April 17, 2014, regarding the first round of “corporate governance evaluation system” procedures in Taipei, Hsinchu, Taichung, and Kaohsiung.

Additional Guidance for Information Disclosure Evaluation System
This series of public meetings will be led by the Financial Supervisory Commission. Information will be provided not only for the first round of “corporate governance evaluation system”, but also for the twelfth round of “information disclosure evaluation system”. These five sessions are expected to draw 2,100 participants. Representatives of listed companies may go to the website of Securities & Futures Institute for registration. TWSE hopes these sessions will further assist companies in understanding how the evaluation procedure is conducted, how the information for the evaluation is obtained, what are the principles and methods for scoring, and other such issues. It also hopes that the evaluation can help companies understand the results of their own implementation of corporate governance.
