The 11th Round (2024) Corporate Governance Evaluation Results Are Announced

The Taiwan Stock Exchange (the TWSE) announced that the 11th Round (2024) Corporate Governance Evaluation has been completed, which included 976 TWSE- and 773 TPEx-listed companies, 1,749 in total. According to the evaluation scores, the companies are divided into seven groups of the top 5%, 6% to 20%, 21% to 35%, 36% to 50%, 51% to 65%, 66% to 80% and 81% to 100%, respectively. The evaluation results for the TWSE- and TPEx-listed companies are announced separately.

For greater insight into the results, there are  five categories of financial and insurance industry, the electronics industry with a market value above NT$10 Billion, non-financial and non-electronics industry with a market value above NT$10 Billion, a market value between NT$5 Billion and NT$10 Billion and a market value under NT$5 Billion. The listed companies mentioned are mixed-ranking, and each type is announced by tier based on the score to show the performance in their respective industries and classifications with similar market value scales.

The Taiwan Stock Exchange and Taipei Exchange will hold the award ceremony in June to honor the top 5% of companies on the listing market basis (49 from TWSE and 39 from TPEx) and the top 5% of companies in the category of "Market Value Between NT$5 Billion and NT$10 Billion" (11 from the TWSE and 5 from the TPEx). In addition, the top 1% of companies in the category of “Market Value Under NT$5 Billion” (5 from the TWSE and 3 from the TPEx) and the companies most improved this year (1 from the TWSE and 1 from the TPEx) will be also awarded in the ceremony to further enhance TWSE- and TPEx-listed companies to strengthen their corporate governance performance.
