Taiwan Weeks— “Emerging Trends in Investor Relations and Engagement: ESG and Sustainable Investing” Forum on October 15 to Deepen Company–Investor Dialogue and Drive the Capital Market’s Sustainable Transition
In response to the global trend of sustainable investing as well as investors’ growing expectations for corporate transparency plus governance quality, the “IR & Engagement: New Trends” forum—guided by the Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) and co-organized by securities and futures market institutions—will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, in the afternoon at the Grand Hilai Taipei (Nangang). The forum will focus on international developments in investor relations (IR) and ESG engagement, practical applications, and the use of digital tools. Through diverse perspectives and interactive exchange, it aims to help companies strengthen two-way communication with investors and jointly build a resilient, sustainably competitive capital market.
The event will feature opening remarks by Director General Chen-Shan Chang of the Securities and Futures Bureau (SFB), FSC; Chairman Sherman Lin of the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE); and Chairman Lih-Chung Chien of the Taipei Exchange (TPEx), underscoring the commitment of regulators and the capital market to advancing sustainability and investor relations.
Designed to blend global vision, local practice, and digital innovation, the program includes two keynote speeches and two panel discussions.
For the keynotes, Pak Wing Chung, Director of Sustainability Solutions at S&P Global, will analyze global ESG rating trends to help companies understand methodologies and alignment with international standards. He will be followed by Tsung-Sheng Liu, Chairman of Yuanta Securities Investment Trust Co., Ltd., who will share how domestic institutional investors conduct ESG engagement, offering on-the-ground observations and action guidance.
The panel discussions will proceed as follows:
• Panel 1: Caihan Chia, Head of Greater China at Singapore Exchange (SGX); Ying-Ji Huang, spokesperson for Sitronix Technology Corporation; and Hui-Xuan Lu, spokesperson for All-Ring Tech Corporation, will discuss how companies disclose information and respond to investor engagement within their IR strategies.
• Panel 2: William Chen, President of Taiwan Index Plus Corporation (TIP); Alex Huang, Chairman of Fubon Asset Management; and Wan-Ru Wang, Vice Chairperson of Strategic Planning Committee at Chunghwa Post Co., Ltd., will share practical applications and the value of IR engagement service platforms, fostering deeper exchange among industry, investors, and market institutions.
By bringing together listed companies, international exchanges, institutional investors, and index providers, the forum aims to set a model for interaction. Through a mix of policy advocacy, practical industry experience, along with demonstrations of digital tools, it encourages more companies to respond proactively to ESG issues, establish robust communication mechanisms with investors, and further enhance corporate governance quality and sustainable value in Taiwan’s capital market.
Taiwan Week 2025 will take place from October 15 to 23. All are welcome to participate and engage in in-depth exchanges through the forum and expo. For more information, please visit the official website: [www.taiwanweeks.com](http://www.taiwanweeks.com).
